Our answer to these questions is to announce our relationship with First Data Merchant Services.   Parallel Software announces the AuthPayX First Data Client.   The simplest and least costly way to process electronic payments over the Internet.   Simple, effective, and efficient.

In response to our customers, we have a simple four-step process to follow:

  1. Demo and Trial (Parallel Software)

    • You trial our software for as long as you need to. Download a demo at www.AuthPayX.com/AuthPayExpress/download/FirstData/index.html. This should take no more than 2 minutes on the slowest dialup line.
    • You may trial using any credit card number you have. None of these will be charged, as you will be simulating transactions without really processing them using First Data's test server. We can arrange to get you a magnetic card reader if need be. Run transactions and see how the product works!

  2. Application (First Data)

    • You will then contact First Data Merchant Services to apply for a merchant account relationship. You may call Mike Gilmore at (253) 312-3945 (Cell) or alternately, e-mail him at mike.gilmore@firstdata.com. Mike may request a credit history on your current merchant account. This should take no more than 15 minutes. Mention AuthPayX as the product of choice. Unlike other banks, there is no fee for an application. In order to facilitate this process, please print out and complete this Merchant Information form and fax it to the number on the bottom of the page.

      In order for Mike to quote you the most competitive rates, he will need the following information from you:

      • $ volume,
      • transaction volume,
      • % of card swiped (card-present transactions),
      • number of web/internet tranasctions as a percentage of your volume, and
      • your current credit card processor.

  3. Approval (First Data)

    • After approval, you are issued a special Permanent Store Key and number that encodes your current bank's routing information to ensure that your customers' funds are transferred to the right location. You will need to save these two numbers to be added to the preferences of AuthPayX later on. The approval will take a few hours.

  4. Permanent License (Parallel Software and First Data)

    • You then fax back a permanent licnense agreement from our web site or we can send you one via email. After we process your payment, you will get access to the official AuthPayX First Data Client to begin processing credit card transactions. (5 - 10 minutes).

We have taken weeks out of a process that is confusing and difficult to follow for most customers.   This process will simplify things.
