Product Description:

Since 1991, Parallel Software has been developing products on the Macintosh platform. This is the latest release within our AuthPay Express family of products.

Our AuthPayX First Data Client is based on the "Web Services" capabilities of Mac OS X. It features Mac OS X look and feel GUI. Our product handles card present or card not present transactions. You can also submit transactions individually or in batch mode.

We offer USB connectivity support for POS Receipt Prnters, Magnetic Card Readers, and a Cash Drawer. See supported devices below. Future releases will handle Gift and Debit card (4-digit pin pad) transactions.

Whether you have access to a stand-alone modem or are on a network, we offer a solution that will allow you to start processing immediately. Access is provided to your credit card data online via your browser or alternately, through your AuthPayX First Data Client.

POS Vendor Offerings:

In addition to your needs for stand-alone credit card processing, we offer 4 other solutions through our Point of Sale (POS) VARs that integrate our credit card processing and payment capabilities within their products. These POS solutions employ our Cocoa client or our soon to be announced Mac OS X FileMaker Pro Plug-In to further extend your options as a Mac-based enterprise. Their names and URLs are:

• POS Hardware Supported: USB only. Star Micronics' TSP 600™ or TSP 700™ Series POS Receipt printers, Vasario's APG™ Cash Drawer, or IDTech's EasyMag™ or MiniMag™ magnetic card readers. If you have existing POS equipment - please call us about any integration questions.

• Speed: Generally one or two seconds per transaction based on network factors such as latency, traffic, and seasonal peak variables.

• Dynamic Fraud Standards Supported (Security Codes): AVS, CVV2, CVC2.

• Memory Footprint: Small memory and application footprint. Less than 1 MB.

• Installer: (OS limitations - OS X Version 10.2.7 or later)

• Applescript Support: Our first version is completely Apple Scriptable for a range of databases and applications including FileMaker Pro, 4D, Omnis Studio and Helix, and other applications. Sample AppleScripts are available upon request.

• Print Receipts/Receipt Settings/Report Page Setup: Our software allows for customization of various reports, receipts and pages to express your messages clearly.

• Query Reports Feature: Allows the user to format reports on 60 different variables for non-completed transacitons. Via your Internet Browser, many other reports are available for a range of transaction statuses and types.

• Communications Secruity: HTTPS connectivity allows for modem or TCP/IP secured access.

• Transaction Types Supported: Charges, Authorizations, Voice Authorizations (Forced transactions), Credits, Voids and Refunds. Credit Card only. (Debit Card transactions are treated as Credit Card transactions).

• Card Processors: First Data.
