Carbon API

Carbon represents a subset of the Mac OS APIs that allow developers to transition their Mac OS 8 applications to Mac OS X. Mac OS X applications gain memory protection and preemptive multitasking, providing a more robust computing experience for Mac users.

Parallel Software has the expertise to help you migrate your application to support Carbon, from the initial stages to the completion of the project.

Porting

As Apple continues to regain market share, the porting of existing applications to the Macintosh is becoming more common. Parallel Software has the experience dealing with the risks and benefits of porting and can help you port your application to the Macintosh.

USB, Firewire, xDSL Driver Development

With USB it is now possible to support many concurrent devices. Parallel Software has developed a methodology and approach to firmware that allows an efficient development cycle for software drivers for USB and Firewire products including digital scanners, cameras, video devices, and audio devices.
xDSL is a new standard allowing high-speed acces to the Internet. Currently it has only seen limited use in the U.S., but one that shows much promise. Parallel Software can help you decide if xDSL is for you and can help you implement it.
