Background
We are looking for software engineering and support talent that understand and have shown proficiency as OOP and OOD engineers. We are looking for experience in the payment processing industry. Remote support opportunities are available to allow the candidate to work from home in some cases.
Software Engineers
The ability to develop Cocoa frameworks and use Visual C++ or C# are necessary skills. Implementing systems using both frameworks is a big plus.
API server level coding is a must with the ability to understand messaging protocols in communications networks. Encryption and compression skills are greatly appreciated. Backgrounds consisting it the use of Design Patterns within a Scrum Agile environment a distinct plus. An Advanced Degree in technical discipline from a premier school is highly desirable.
Technical Support Engineers
We are looking for phone support people who have strong minds and are empathetic. The incumbent needs to have the ability to understand the user's perspective and make quick recommendations. In addition, you will need to be able to log problems and continue to track resolutions within various databases. Must possess strong communication skills and must be technically competent.
Occasionally, you will need to write Applescripts, C#, and UNIX shell commands as part of your work. Familiarity with Filemaker Pro scripting a big plus
- Must know basic transaction processing knowledge and expertise.
- Must have strong computer skills on the Macintosh and/or Windows XP platforms.
- Must be able to communicate effectively over the phone and via email.
- Must be able to complete commitments in a real-time demanding environment.
- An Advanced Degree in technical discipline from a premier school is highly desirable.
