Parallel Software Announces Apple Developer Connection Discount Program

NAPERVILLE, Illinois. -- July 22, 1999 -- Parallel Software today announced the opening of a new program called, "The Mac Checkup Service." They are offering a series of Macintosh Checkups for those ADC vendors that are reevaluating their committment and support levels for the Macintosh platform..

Parallel Software is offering these discounted services to encourage Mac vendors to prepare for the OS X migration and determine their prodcuts future needs to conform to the USB and FireWire specifications.

We are interested in helping other Macintosh developers win back market share by offering up to a 10% discount (based upon volume) on the following services to ADC Select and Premier members now through December 31, 1999:

• USB and FireWire Checkup: We will evaluate your USB and FireWire products and build the drivers you need to bring these products to the Mac.
• Carbon Test Checkup: We will analyze your existing Mac source code and update it to the Carbon APIs and make it ready for Mac OS X.
• Macintosh Porting Checkup: After examining market and technical factors, we will port your Windows or Unix product to the Macintosh.
