ProBe Software, Inc. announces Mac OS X™ Panther version of ProBe™ Point of Sale software.

April 17, 2004 - ProBe Software, Inc. http://www.probesoft.com today announced availability of its ProBe™ XP product for Mac OSX™ Panther. This is a complete rewrite of ProBe's previous Point of Sale and ProZk software for Retail outlets, Restaurants, Bars, Cafeteria and Clubs. It takes full advantage of the OSX Panther features, and has full Touch screen capabilities for all POS functions.

ProBe Softare started its operations in 1986 and is the oldest continuing designer of POS software for Apple Macintosh. Their latest product gives retail business customers the benefit of a long association with the retail industry. A complete suite of Point of Sale software with optional touch screen interface is now available in the traditional Macintosh user-friendly manner. The product is written in the just released version 4 of Omnis Studio.

The new product also feature seamless integration with the AuthPayX™ First Data Client software. This product provides credit verification for retail, restaurant, bar, cafeteia and clubs through First Data Merchant Services.

According to ProBe Software's CEO, Martin Vlaskamp, "the ability to process credit card transactions with the largest credit and debit card processor in the world provides a unique facility for our customers. We're pleased to be partnering with Parallel Software to launch our new product."
