CREATIVE, SIMPLE SOLUTIONS Global Network Infrastructure Manufacturer GUI Development Business Case The client needed to provide a series of Windows-based User Interface screens (UI) that would simulate the conditions of the modem. Solutions Parallel Software built a GUI that simulated a dashboard that would track such things as true modem speed, line conditions, modem state, and interrupts. This self-correcting software allowed users to diagnose problems before calling technical support thus saving time and resources. Several API's were utilized to allow the user the ability to see events real-time. Extensive use of MFC class libraries, Greenleaf communications libraries, and Visual C++ were used to deliver this project.
